To talk up or talk down??

When your team is going well do you prefer the underdog tag and play your team down or talk up how amazing they are??? Which is the best psychology??

My opinion, I love being underdog but hasn't been too successful as of late, so maybe if you keep telling yourself you are the best then you will believe it... Or does that create too many enemies....
