Navarino FC Website Goes Live

Post by ryesmith »

Hi guys,

Just thought I'd let you know that one of the very talented guys at our club has taken the time out to construct our first website which we hope will eventually be in the same league as some of the other top club websites out there.

Any comments or feedback would be greatly appreciated as establishing a growing online presence of the Amateur league can only be a good thing in the long run.

The key to a good website is that it gets updated. Ours gets done once a week (homepage, tables, match reports, and photo of the week). If you get into a habit of doing that, I'm sure it will be of great benefit to your club. Looks great so far!

Had a quick look. Agree with Kitch. The hardest thing with a website is not creating it, but maintaining it which can be very time consuming.

Only a minor technicality but Allstars utd should have an uppercase for the U on the reserves table on the front page.

One recommendation is to have the numerals in the P and Pts columns set to reside to the right so that single digits numerals aline with two digit numerals.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Iggies your webpage looks awesome by the way and looks like you will need to update it next season to say Div 1 Sat.

Navarino FC also has a fan page on Face Book so freel free to join. All clubs should support each other in my opinion.

You can even follow Navarino FC on Twitter at http://twitter.com/navarinofc

Good luck to all on the weekend.

Just realised on SA Amatuer Soccer League site teams have links to their club web pages under 'links' tab.

I have emailed them to add Navarino's.

You may choose to do the same. I didn't see one for Iggies.

If you can get anyone to contribute on a weekly basis that's a start.

Hi guys,

If you have visited our site you will notice a twitter icon on our home page. We are hoping to post live score updates from reserves and first team on there from this weekend (if all goes well!) so please follow us :)

Any suggestions I am happy to take them on board. Hopefully all the clubs in our league can eventually have a website as it builds some exposure and hopefully our pregame articles etc. can add something to the weekend!

The website is better then the saasl website, good job Thinasi. I enjoyed the thorough analysis of training last night even though i missed it felt like i was there.
