Touch of desperation down at Tilley reserve me thinks

As I said...desperate.
Love the bit where you put on your wishlist (a striker)....TTG scoring 7 goals for the season thus far have nothing to do with it?
Every side would have " a couple of injuries", and I'm guessing that players leaving for the WC would have been known some time ago.
Good luck in your recruitment drive

I know a striker that might be interested. Hes absolutely quality, great finisher with excellent pace and strength. The only downfall is that he is terrible at receiving 50 yard balls coming out of defence...

Would TTG Be interested in changing their game style to suit him?

Agree the tactic when I watched against Vista wasn't good to see. However, it's good to see a few vista boys on here ark up and have such a small memory considering they were lucky to stay up last year :)

From what I know of Gully they have been a title contender (pretender?) for a few seasons in Div2 - things probably just coming full circle - seems to me it has happened for Vista, coming good after been pish for a few seasons (and a few federation ring ins)

Happens to everyone?

I am just suprised that an area that is traditionally very strong in producing good young soccer players,is looking for players - have you checked out your junior players U/18 or U/ 16 or however old they are ? Bound to be some prospects there

Fantastic post General. Last year I attended the Colts presentation and spoke to over 20 players. I took numbers and sent text messages about pre season. TTG has over 8 players currently playing in the Seniors and Reserves. I will personally go and have a look at games and trainings. But there is a huge difference between playing E&D in Colts to stepping up and playing Mens football, if there is anyone currently playing at the club that is standing out or scoring goals or is worth a look at then its a 2 way street maybe someone from the club can speak to me or give me a call.

So if you know of someone feel free to come and see me at the club, call me or send a PM.

I live way over the other side of town, but i hope someone in your area does respond to your call. I agree that there is a big difference, but it is the physical side of the game that would worry me with young players playing amateurs. I was watching an amateur game a couple of weeks ago,a young African boy was running rings around his opponents, until a big Muscat type opposition player, decided to allegedly squeeze the young lad in his genatalia area, unable to continue. I am sure if his parents were there all hell would have broke loose - where do you draw the line on what happens on the field stays on the field ?

Like yeah, like wow, like I am like 5.

I've missed you gobbing off on this forum, your absence must be relative to your club's league position.
