Nicklas Bendtner

Post by El Capitano »

I don't know how such a technical team like Arsenal have one of the biggest donkeys I've seen playing for them.

I lost count how many times he missed from 6 yards out against Burnley.

I loved the inane dribble he did which took him around to the corner flag in the second half. He then did a loop back and took a shot which Jensen caught easily.

The Gunners need a world class striker to bridge the gap with the big two.

RVP is world class but so injury prone :( Was in great form until he got kicked

As for Nicklas, the positive was he got in those positions but ghee blind freddie would of finished half the chances he got

If the Gunners had thier world class striker [RVP] or the like all that Manure & Chelski supporters would be talking about is a champions league spot.

i think he is a good player..... somehow

he scores regularly for denmark and scored 15 in all comps last season, but he is now 22-23 and he isnt hitting the strides he should b. with adebayor gone this was his season and i know he has had the injury but it is no excuse, a world class striker playing against a team like burnley would have scored 5 that night.

i dont think he has what it takes to fill the gap needed for arsenal to be a consistant dominance, i do like him and have rated him but i think he will finish shy of the quality needed to b a top 4 player. could see him doing well in the bundesliga, good quality, physical football at a slighlty slower tempo i think he would dominate

Only two points from top spot and scored more goals than anyone else in the league, i hardly think thats the problem.

Yeah he scored 3 goals, the 2 goals i saw before i went to work were the tap-ins. I'm sure Wenger had Bendtner practice his 6 yard shots all week.

Besides scoring everything else he did was crap, lost count how many times the ball went under his foot when he tried to control it.

But hey, he scored 3 goals everything else he did is irrelevant

well what game were u watchin. bendtner was very calm on the ball, and finished when he had too. whats more is that he could of had a couple more.

ive seen rooney miss worse then some of the ones bendtner had against burnley, but every striker has off days.

He's a striker Capitano - he just scored a hat trick - what the f**k else would you want? Tap ins or not, goal is a goal.

Lineker and Inzaghi made great careers from poaching.

Bendtner is an very average finisher but a good striker if that makes sense. No point being a great finisher if you're never in position to tuck it away, but NB at least gets in position plenty of times. As his finishing improves, he'll be a decent player. Having said that, Arsenal do provide him with plenty of ammo so he might struggle at a lesser team.
