Sundays game.

Post by primal_envy »

Its always hard to lose a game, espcially when the team is capable of winning.

I thought I'd change my post considering.

Most people know there was a 'disagreement' in the game on Sunday. It took me by surprise for sure! The entire game was pretty physical and seemed as though it were life or death for the outcome!! I suppose it gets like that though when both teams are really giving it all.

The beginning to our season hasn't been great, but it can only get better! And I'm really looking forward to it. I think I made the right decision to move to another club, even though it takes me half an hour to get there and back! It is definitely worth it.

So ur telling me that wen ur city player punched an olympic player in the back of the head after merely loosine a free kick and then the OLYMPIC girl getting red carded whereas the city girl gets only a yellow, u believe thats funny do you? I dont know what kind or sense of humor was done then but i believe that justice was done when olympic came away with the points...

jinx?

as for the fight, it was caught on camera and the city girl should get the right punishment for the incident

olympic girl shouldnt of reacted, but an important lesson was learnt.

olympic girls showed great spirit and determination to walk away with the three points.

haha jinx thats the funniest thing ive heard in womens soccer...did u ever think maybe u just dont have wat it takes..considering the skill level of soccer is increasing more and more each week..... maybe train harder

theres teams that go out there each week and get slaughtered only difference is they dont use the excuse of being jinx that accept the fact that got some skills to learn to make them better as a team
whether we fall by ambition, blood or lust

We do have what it takes. Each player are awesome its just hard to play together as a team when the team is so new.

Its hard losing, and when there doesn't look like theres any hope left in the last two minutes, you can't help but just shrug it off and keep going to the end. Good on Olympic for gettin three points, the winning team usually deserves to win and they did.

No one new what to do when the fight happened, obviously the ref only saw the reaction, thats just bad luck. Thats what the team was shocked about, and we just ended up taking it as a joke, we didnt know what else to do! I've never played in a game where frustration has been taken to that point!

No. 1 It's spelt JINX

No. 2 There is no JINX on City Res. work harder and the results will come... Teams occasionally go through slumps and seeing as i know the team too and you can agree too - majority of the current City Res. are new players to the club OR have been moved up from Under 17s or where ever.... What you think you can come together straight away and win the league by the end of Round 3.. Silly boob!

No. 3 Losing 6-1 and admitting yes you made mistakes but then in same sentence saying luck wasn't on your side... Well which is it?!?!

It's like saying 'Oh poo how unlucky was it that i missed that goal' But really is more like 'Oh wow look i nearly kicked a goal how unlucky was it that i missed the ball/cant/control/kicked the ground (insernt other silly mistakes here!)

No. 4 [This is Mature Mim Speaking Here...] No room for temper tantrums or a short fuse in football or any sports tho.. I've never been sent off for it but i've been dragged by my coach not for fighting but for getting fired up etc and going in for things like the player not the ball or reckless tackles... not only does it put you off your game and what your meant to be doing but someone can get seriously hurt

HOWEVER i do get excited when there is fight or 'words' on the pitch... Yes a giggle is occasionally needed but it shouldnt get to a point where someone is hurt physically (and i mean hurt-hurt not 'oh she pushed me and i fell on my fanny'..... Oh or any of that other racial/sexual mumbo jumbo harrassment either!!!

Well i think i'm done for the moment!! :)

It would have been nice if you had stayed at your old club because then we might not have been getting killed 12 - 0.
But I am happy you are enjoying it at your new club.

Cheers
