Watching Paint Dry....
sounds much more appealing than watching the dippers this season. The current shambles of a team reminds me a lot of the team under Gerrard Houllier who could literally put you to sleep on a Wednesday evening if one of their European games was live on the box!
Gotta be tough to be a pool supporter this season. I feel for them a little bit!

For a while I have tried to find reasons for our poor form. "oh Torres is out, injuies this, injuries that, off game" But it has got to the point where there is nothing. How can you beat Tottenham, who are 1.5x better than Wolves, and draw to Wolves, same story with Stoke and all the other teams who are generally of a lower quality than us. I think we have two problems, verging on three. 1 - We have no readily replacement for Torres, he is our eggs and our basket, without him - we have to deal with Ngog. Kuyt 2 - Rafa, throughout his career, has bought all the wrong players - bar maybe a few. This has finally caught up with us, as we have a squad depth of -2. 3 - Rafa, over the years i thought he was one of the best coaches, but that is slipping, very, very fast. Yes the players on the field have a job to do, but Rafa makes excuse after excuse - and sadly, has to cop the punishment for our poor form. I give him 3 weeks.
Tommy: We've lost Gorgeous George.
Brick Top: Well, where'd you lose him? He ain't a set of fucking car keys now, is he? And it ain't as if he's incon-fucking-spicuous now, is it?

I think Aquilani has a clause in his contract that states he can't play at away games.
Sotiri again MOM - Rafa's best signing since FT9.

Too right. Motm for 2 of the last 3 games IMO. And he played very well against Spurs even though he wasn't motm. I reckon he should get an extended run in the side. Skrtel seems to have lost all the confidence, he's a shadow of himself last season.Kunta Kintay wrote:Sotiri again MOM
