Liverpool to sign Nikola Zigic
According to both the player’s agent and the Spanish press, Liverpool are in negotiations with Rafa Benitez’ old club Valencia to sign their 6 ft 8 Serbian striker Nikola Zigic.
Zigic recently rejected a move to Zenit St Petersburg and is thought to prefer a move to the Premier League where his aerial and physical strengths would be far better utilized. The chances of the Serbian star featuring regularly for Chelsea are weak which suggests Liverpool would be the ideal move. The striker has showed he is willing to prove his worth to Valencia but three league starts for the club in three seasons that looks very unlikely.

Crouch was (is) good and should have been given more games. Rafa wanted to keep him, but Crouch wanted to play every game so left.Scudetto8687 wrote:you think Rafa woyuld have learnt by now with tall timber.

Absolutely nothing to do with the topic but I thought the Pool supporters (doubt there's any Fury fans on here) might appreciate this compilation of Fowler at his best. Reminds me of Lloyd Owusu
