Hot Weather
Any games, trials or training sessions sanctioned by EDJSA will be automatically cancelled if the official forecast temperature at the Adelaide Bureau of Meteorology for the Elizabeth area is 32 degrees Celsius or greater after 5:30pm on the day before the game, trial or training. The forecast temperature being for the day of the game, trial or training. The official forecast can be obtained from major media outlets e.g. Radio, television and Internet on the day before or from the Advertiser newspaper of the day of the game, trial or training.
Hot Weather

EDJSA Hot Weather Policy
Any outdoor activities, games, trials or training sessions sanctioned by EDJSA shall be cancelled if the official forecast temperature is 32 degrees Celsius or greater for the Elizabeth area.
The official forecast temperature shall be determined from the television Channel NINE 6:00pm News the day before any such activity shall take place.
Any indoor activity will be allowed provided it is conducted within an adequately air-conditioned facility (eg. Clubroom, Gym, Indoor Swimming Centre) allowing drink and rest breaks every 10 minutes during such activity.
PENALTIES.
1st offence – Chairperson, Secretary, Club Delegate, Club Coach before EDJSA
Coach suspended for 1 month
Team loses 3 points and 2 goals for the next 2 games
1st offence – Modified Rules –
Coach suspended for 2 months
Team suspended for 2 games
2nd offence –
Club lose 3 points per team for all teams
Other team gets 3 points, 2 goals awarded for that week
Coach on second offence – dismissed from coaching at EDJSA
