Would be great if everyone started at the same stage.
ie, host representative, 6 confederation winners and current holders all play from the quarter-final stage.

Re: FIFA Club World Cup
well done to Auckland for winning their playoff, amazing result for a bunch of semi-pro's.
Are Al-Ahly in the ACL? Would love to be in their group based on that result.

No they are not. They are from The United Arab Emirates and play in the Asian confederation, although here they are representing the host nation.Red-4-Life wrote:nope they are from Egypt i think so they would play the African equivalent champs league. and yeah i agree, they should make it fair so everyone starts at the same stage.themagnet wrote:well done to Auckland for winning their playoff, amazing result for a bunch of semi-pro's.

Re: FIFA Club World Cup
Pohang ran riot over Mazembe in the first half yet found themselves down at half time. Even in the second half as they were wasting opportunities I thought they were going to crash out scoring nothing. Denilson was caught offside on several occasions as well until the goals.

Re: FIFA Club World Cup
Auckland taking 5th place is a great effort for an "amatuer" team. Barca vs Estuandites or whatever in the final
Re: FIFA Club World Cup
Agreed they would be wrapped in that effort and the prize money that goes with itRed-4-Life wrote:Auckland taking 5th place is a great effort for an "amatuer" team. Barca vs Estuandites or whatever in the final
