Re: port pirie city
if this is the case.........
was the entry of a club from outside the metropolitan/outer metropolitan area discussed at the AGM???
as most clubs will probably hire a bus, will the SAASL cover the costs???
im not against the idea but resent the lack of communication and the SAASL's dictatorial manner
i do not speak for my club!!!!!!!!!

Re: port pirie city
if pirie wanted to encourage clubs bringing more than just players (ie family), games should start earlier...

Re: port pirie city
I know it's not the same distance as Pirie, but last season my club travelled to Port Elliot, Murray Bridge, Birdwood (twice), and Strathalbyn, and the season before they also travelled to McClaren Vale.

You go on the p*ss all day, you've ballooned out like the Pillsbury Doughboy!
You could go to jail for this! What sort of system am I going to play then? Three across the middle and one in bloody Pentonville? *Mike Basset*

Re: port pirie city
We (Fulham) went up there for a trial last season - it was an awesome weekend.
Hopefully we can draw them away in the cup if they are in Div 2!!!

Re: port pirie city
Maybe it will be Port Pirie Lions and THEY will do all the travelling, and be using lions ground as a home ground ?
But I think Redders will be tight lipped until anything is official 'IF' it involves USC Lion.

Re: port pirie city
Road Trips are great, but maybe not so quality on a Sunday night,
A Sat away trip, play and have a late night, or stay overnight or post game drinks, would be far better

Re: port pirie city

Re: port pirie city
I thought should an entity fold or merge, then it goes back to the bottom of the league and 3rd place in the next div gets the call up?
