The Italian midfielder does not see the encounter against ‘Les Bleus’ as a World Cup final revenge.

Most definitively, one of the most intriguing encounters to be played next week for the Euro qualifiers is that between the newly World Champions Italy and runners-up France.

However, for Gennaro Gattuso this game will not be a chance for France to avenge themselves for the lost final.

“It will not be a revenge-match against France.

“The revenge will be a European Championship or World Cup final, now it’s only a game like any other and there are three points at stake.â€￾
