2009 Under 13 Veto Tournament - October 14, 2009

The Football Federation SA has fielded two teams in the 2009 Under 13 Veto Tournament held in Newcastle, featuring some State Federations and New Zealand.

South Australia is fielding a Metropolitan and Country teams.

It is the first time that a Junior State Country team has been involved in a state based tournament, and provides players from regional areas of South Australia to showcase their talents on a national stage.

The 2009 Under 13 Veto Tournament will conclude on Friday, when the Final will be held.

Congratulations to both the State Under 13 Country and Metropolitan teams on their outstanding performance at the tournament.

SA Metro defeated the host Northern NSW (Hunter) 6-0 in the final while SA Country finished in third position after accounting for New Zealand 5-0.
