WHAT'S GOING ON AT MACO'S????

Post by bigpond »

dont know the story but when we played Maco's 6 weeks back and drew 3-3 I thought they looked a better outfit than the 1st time we played them with some dangerous players up front.

Since then they have fallen in a heap and look set for DIV 3 as they have a harder draw than PUMAS.

Been years since Maco's were in DIV 3 - can any1 from Maco's explain???

have the guys given up or will they come to play against Ingle Farm and give them a run for their money???

They have no chance against Farm, who will be hungry to put last weeks defeat to bed. They cant hold on to a lead and the fire seems to have gone out.

Would be great to help put Pumas down this weekend however they seemed stronger than Maco's - there two forwards are very good, despite Frankie being a complete tool! Could come down to goal difference however I think Maco's will lose last two and Pumas good for at least a point. On the plus side at my age and stage Pumas have a crap reserve side Maco's are too young and fast for me!

Dont count on Bosna to lose against the pumas. That could be a huge game especially if Bosna win this week. I still think that the macos will go down with Bosna though. The pumas can realistically win that last game but it wont be easy for them. That last week end is going to be a cracker.

Farm could not score against Maco's in the first game, their keeper played terrific that day.

I heard on the grapevine that the same keeper is injured now.

That is a massive loss for a team that lacks playmakers and relies on its defense to get results

Hope Macos can pull it off, with the exception of the REF they were ok when we visited, Pumas are another story all together.

Rest assured bigpond we will come to play against Ingle Farm this week and will be giving anything and everything in an effort to win. Scoring definately isnt the problem as we've been leading against fulham, pumas, bosna and east in the past month to six weeks. Our problem is we seem to be able to find a new way to concede goals each week, this weeks winner against us was a typical example. Obviously our confidence is a bit low and we are missing some players and we havent had a settled side all year but thats no excuse. We should have held our lead against Fulham and against Pumas and probably should have beaten East but for some reason we lose concentration in the last 15 minutes. If we go down we'll have nobody to blame but ourselves but i guarantee we wont be going without a fight, including this week against Ingle Farm.

All the best Macos, get in behind them and at the keeper and you will have a chance he is good for a couple of goals.

I've been hearing a few bad things about Pumas... what's wrong with them?

sorry keepa the result doesnt stand if the game is stopped afta half tme,,the league replays the game even if theres 5 minutes to go,,,once we where 2-0 up against pumas they had 9 players and the game was stopped half way thru the second half cause of a spectator having a heart attack and we had to replay the game,,sad but true

Sad that someone had a heart attack or sad that you had to replay the game. Some people - how rude to have a heart attack just when you were looking at getting 3 points!

Muppets aren't from sesame street, but rather from the muppet show. However Kermit is the only muppet that does actually appear on sesame street. Since we are talking muppets (plural) then it is unlikely that they would return to sesame street.
