No excuses today. Couldn't put the ball in the net despite plenty of chances especially in the second half. Enfield perhaps a little unlucky not to snatch one near the end. To the Enfield parents who wished us well for the remainder of the season, thank you. To some of our parents who didn't clap our boys during the warm down, thank you too......just when the boys needed a lift
To the sideline experts who continue to knock our season....good luck in your quest for the perfect Club and Coach....sorry we are letting you down.

Playford 17 - 0 Cobras
Great performance today by the boys, I am pretty sure the score was only 5 - 0 at half time. Great second half and it was my pleasure to spectate upon such a terrific performance

Like any other team at this time of year , the team has sufferred from injury to several players in the team which has affected the overall team performance but this has given opportunity to bring players in from the lower age groups.manu17 wrote:ABE havent been doing well lately.... Enfield do play some good soccer and when you are a strong team some fold under the pressure and others lift, winning every week is not fun IMO and from experience too.
Still a few games to go and Enfield beat the Jet's too earlier on so well done to the mighty falcons

The nature of soccer is such that the best team doesn't always win. Probably to Enfield's advantage to play on the smaller pitch.Barney Rubble wrote:Viddie rang them last night and said he wanted them for AUrabbit wrote:Under 15's

At the end of the day, I don't think it's to anyone's advantage to play on the smaller pitch. Enfield weren't happy about it and neither I think were Para Hills. Para's loss to ABE last week was on the kiddies' mini-sand pit out the back at Marden.Bresciano wrote:The nature of soccer is such that the best team doesn't always win. Did Para's 15Bs got the luxury of the main pitch today?
Para 15As just going through a rough patch at the moment - obviously some of the supporters seem to think they have some divine right to win every game - especially those against Enfield
Was a tough game to day in tricky conditions - 80 minutes, 80 emotions! Could have gone either way in the end, but the result was probably the right outcome. Well done to all the lads.

Good luck for the rest of the season, and congratulations on a fantastic season so far.
