Div 9 C2

Brahma Lodge 1
Munno Para 3

Great game from our guys today. Its a nice feeling when you string a few wins in a row. (3  )

Brahma's number 7 went off with a crook back/neck, hopefully he's ok.

In the reserves we were 4-0 down again early then game evened out

In the first team 2-1 really flattered Grove, just a poor imitation of the team we played earlier this year - I think they had 2 shots all game 4 or 5 - 1 would probably have been a truer reflection having said that we were lucky at their ground so luck evened itself out a bit

If the Downs beat Lion today they would be on 29 points and Florina on 35 with 6 points still up for grabs.
So mathematically it's not a certainty until Florina gain 1 more point...but they are in the box seat.

Vikings have still got San Marco and Tea Tree Gully
West Beach, if they won today would be on equal points with ISC Raptors and San Marco to play.
Makes for an interesting finish !

Div 3

Athelstone 2 Beeeogard 3

we went 1 down quickly n then pulled 1 back, then waited 20 minutes till someone pulled the plug for the bloody sprinklers as they soaked the boxes. got 2-1 up with a penalty and then play was stopped again for 5 minutes after a player first grabbed the ref (yellow card) then in a cowardly act kicked out on our player n was given a straight red. there other player was booked 4 the shit challange that started it all and then we waited while the sent of player walked off, tried several times btw, n then while the yellow carded player was subbed, much to his dislike. dnt know wats happening now because the red carded player sat on the bench for the rest of the match, n wen the ref was questioned y he didnt make the player leave the area he said he had quieted down n that we should keep it quiet. the second stop in play stopped all our momentum and injury/lack of concentration from the coon cost the equaliser n they went on to score again. stones shoulda won but we didnt finish our chances.

Well done to Vista today, out played us for large parts of the game and showed they wanted it more. If Vista beat Gully next week Vista can still be promoted. Our fate is still in our own hands. We have pretty much had a full squad to chose from with both teams all year, till the last couple of weeks, which has just come at the wrong time. 2 more wins will seal are own fate, it feels unlikely right now but our best will be good enough, just depends if we can deliver that?

   really??? Personally I thought Grove started much the better and were unlucky to go one down (although great hit fromt he original shot). Second half I thought you guys got on top in patches but didn't think you were '4 or 5' goals better. Thought the final score was about right. But then I guess everyones perspective is different......

i was the player in the initial challenge... 50:50 ball. neither of us got the ball, BUT i got grabbed by the neck and thrown to the ground. the ref didnt see it... my player saw it. went at the ref asking "did you see what he did to him (i.e. me)?" and he got a yellow for it (i recall the ref saying "dont touch me" so he must have grabbed the ref's arm... i didnt see it). more importantly, i never got booked. all along i tried to 'approach' "richie", the dickhead that grabbed me by the neck, and have a word to him... but he did his best to get away from me. he talked it up again after i was subbed off. yeah... well done dirty cunt... you got what you deserve in the end.

SSshhhh! Dont tell everyone that...!

Very happy with our win today as we were a bit undermanned. Good fighting win for the club which we may have over celebrated. It was nice to play on grass for a change :D

i wasnt realli paying much attention at first cause play was stopped so i was tryin to tend 2 my injury, i jst thought ud been booked. but i wouldnt say he "grabbed u round the throat", id put it more as a sling tackle kinda thing but yea. even though i dont want it, id love to see croatia thump u jst like we did at raiders weneva we played white city

yea its 3 points thrown away from us but you guys arent goin up this yr n u guys needa sort out ur problems inside ya team if u gonna challange next yr.

A's

Inter 0 - Fulham 2

Inter look destined to go down and good riddens with there cheating linesman - an absolute disgrace.

Fulham 2 good goals in the 1st half - Inter did come back (as u would expect for when they r in relegation trouble) but couldn't snatch a goal.

B's

Inter 1 - Fulham 0
