Div 3.
Campbelltown City 6 Elizabeth Downs 0
Game was stopped with 15 minutes to play as Elizabeth Downs girl broke her ankle, hope she's okay. Game was very one sided Campbelltown probably should have won by more than 10. Game played in good spirits.
Any other Div 3 results?

Div2
Cumby 2 - 2 Metro
Prems
Cumby 0 - 3 Metro
Div2 game great to watch, Metro 2-0 up at helf time, with Cumby fighting back hard in the second half. Both teams had chances to finish the game off, but a draw was probably a fair result in the end...
Nasty clash of heads in second half of prems game - hope both girls are OK.

What about Prems?
C'town - P.Hills (Friday)?
Cumby - Metro?
City - Fulham?
Sturt - Olympic?
Metro won, just too strong for Cumby...what about the rest?

City Fulham I think ended up either 4/5.1
shocking start for Fulham, no1 played gd apart from Gubs who was outstanding.
Although to cities credit they are an excellent team - amazing players.

Spot on shorty.
Difficult to play in the wind, but AC clearly deserved it IMO.
AC were creative, attacking, quite fast and definitely much more organised.
Fulham just couldn't match them today.
Not the end of the world tho!

Congrats to Parafield girls!
In the Prems instead congrats to C'town, winning vs PH puts them in a very good position to avoid relegation.
PH seems now condemned. Good luck for next season tho.

Good to hear so
It's always awful when players get hurt, and for Metro would be harder to play without Ebony in the semis...
With her it's a whole different ball game!

Re: Results 16/8
Well done Parafield for winning Div3 even though they were one of the "splitters" who I felt should not have been allowed back in until next season, and I hope they are not one of the teams trying for yet another breakaway league for next year. The women's game will be better with everyone in the 1 comp, with FFSA refs etc, if you play in a breakaway comp you can forget about playing for SA or higher honours.

Great to see Chantz enjoying her soccer again and winning her first team trophy.
All the best for the cup and lets bring home the double.

Re: Results 16/8
There isnt and wont be a breakaway league next year and even if there was Parafield Gardens wont be part of it so I dont know where you got that from. I hope its not a case of sour grapes because if you didnt say well done at the start of your post it wouldve certainly sounded like it. In fact we are already in the process of starting an under 15 team next year so I hope that makes you happy. Next year we might call the girls teams the Parafield Splitters because they did spit many defences this year scoring 83 league goals for the season with 1 game still to go.ronshippau wrote:Well done Parafield for winning Div3 even though they were one of the "splitters" who I felt should not have been allowed back in until next season, and I hope they are not one of the teams trying for yet another breakaway league for next year.
