Surely not talk of another 'break-away' league? This years attempt at doing that caused havoc when it collapsed not long after it started.
Hopefully any talk (and action) will be aimed at improving the situation with the FFSA Womens league and it's structure etc.

I think it should be quite simple any delegates going to this should be advising their clubs and then all clubs should be talking to each other to ensure that another stuff up doesn't happen like last year. From my memories of last year is that most people from the clubs had no idea this was going on and little information was presented to the members eg players / coaches/ administration so lets not let lightening strike twice don't keep information secret and talk openly about what they FFSA want and obtain the feedback forms from the clubs pick the good bad and the stupid. Present a package for all clubs to review and then take the appropriate time to implement eg implement in 2011 if you want to change something not 2010.

Rocket science I think not

There is an FFSA delegates meeting on Monday, where season evaluations have been solicited by FFSA from the teams. It will be interesting to see how much of this dissatisfaction comes through in the season evaluations from the club delegates. Hopefully a constructive discussion will result, and some sort of resolution will result.

Getting all clubs to agree on something isn't easy in any league.

Of course I didn't mean to suggest that one meeting would 'solve all the issues', Bill. What I did want to suggest is that, as there have been complaints that the original decision was made without enough consultation, that whatever comes next should happen in a more open and reciprocal forum. A more complete and informed discussion between the clubs and FFSA. That's all.

If you mean the reestablishment of the Reserves my clear impression was every Prem club stated the Reserve league/team was vital for a Prem club to adequately support the Prem team and needed to be reinstated in some form for 2010.
The only argument against this but not from any Prem club was that Div 1 sides are quite happy with the current system. :?:
However the consensus was that if this is the case (?) and those teams wish to be promoted to Prems they will also find that supporting their Prem team without a "Reserves" playing just before the Prems will be equally as difficult for them to support Prems as any existing Prem club.

The time was short but there was also universal support for abolishing or dramatically modifying the nominated Prems 11 who are tied for the full season to only play in Prems.

Thank you for that, I couldn't make it last night, glad those points were raised especially the nominated 11 tied to prems.
