San Marco 1 - 1 PHE

All I will say is that East were most unlucky today (although they do need to shoot!!!), and I think that they are starting to play some nice football and are on thre improve.....

Elizabeth Grove vs Modbury Vista

A's 1 - 5! Great win today and were the better team all game. Hard to believe Grove were unbeaten at home prior to today. Gannon with a double today, Gannon curse is no more.

Reserves 2 - 1

USC lion v Florina

A's 2-4
B's 0-2
C's 0-1

Good day of lion hunting for the boys from florina. Hope the guy who copped it in the cheek is ok, definately looked broken. As much spirit goes on during the game we don't like seeing any type of injury like that.

Firsts
Ingle Farm 1 Pontian Eagles 2

Dissapointing to drop the points here very scrappy game that saw us go 1 up in the first half only to concede 2 and let it slip. Two poor incidents behind play saw Pontians players throwing elbows and fists but apart from that a very......... FAIR game. Pontians looked the more dangerous team going forward and we just couldnt find that killer blow. both pontians goals came as a result of poor man marking and we only have ourselves to blame.

Seconds
Ingle Farm 3 Pontian Eagles 2

Bit of a scare in this one with us down 1-0 at half time but the inclusion of our Argentinian superstar Fernando we pulled two back then capped it off with a third. Missed so many chances to put this one to bed with three one on ones in the firts half not put away and 5 in the second half. Outlaw with a beautiful clearance off the line instead of being greedy and slotting it home. Can't afford to concede silly goals like we did today and expect to win the league.

Well done to Pontians for a good day with the chicken skewers and hamburgers they served absaloutly quality. Enjoyed the banter in both matches and cudos on the immaculate pitch was a joy to play on a good surface for once.

ref insisted 5 - 2

He would chase hard for a half eaten cheese burger!! Good to see your back on winning terms and not only are the forwards scoring but the backline is staying strong well done.

How did Luke Mc Cabe go in the ressies?? i warned him about the grove but i got the feeling he thought they would be soft!!

Munno Para 0 Knights 4

I have to say a fair result in the end. Knights probably lucky going in at half time 1 up. From memory knights cleared 2 off the line, keeper pulled off a good save and a couple of shots from MP going across the face. Knights also missing a penalty with about 10 to go in the first half. Second half saw knights take control of the game. MP had keeper sent off again and knights really looked to punish a struggling MP side.

Ressies got up 2-1 today. I think that was it anyway. Great result for them after being 1 nil down after 30 seconds.
