Best player Div 2 reserves
Okay we know there are a lot of good players in the 1st teams what about the reserves.
The wee blonde guy from MV who rolled an ankle against Fulham, nice lad too.

The young lad who plays upfront for Fulham is pretty good. The number five (played in the midfield against us) and number 11 for Southern knights. For Beach, Big Steve in the middle/sweeper is a consistent performer and Big Bad Marcus upfront is a real handful for defenders.

It was just 1 Crownie we agreed on???sidopolous wrote:MJ (Kopite) for Vista - only cos he's too lazy to play As
Quickest player over first ten meters that I have seen. Skillful, great timing and composed.
I don't want you getting a big head about this Fake Tan. I'll have a crownie please
Well my record stands at played 7 games this season, we've won 6 and drawn 1 of those. Looking forward to my comeback game this weekend.
Stupid 4th metatarsal. Never heard of it before Beckham broke his in 2002, then Gerrard, and then Rooney. So I'm in good company (well Gerrard anyway - the other 2 are tossers!!).
But I agree with some comments about the little guy for Fulham and there was a little guy in midfield for Knights (I hacked him with 10 minutes to go) that was quite useful.
I think there's more candidates for worst player....

I know for sure that we have some excellent B team players, the best players are the that dont always get noticed like the ones that defend well and midfield who supply the ball. Luck for us strikers we get the easy end of the deal and just have to tuck them in. We get a lot of the glory, but who remembers the goalkeeper who puts in an unbelivable save, or the defender who makes a killa tackle at the right time , or the perfect through ball by the midfielder.
But you bring up an interesting point. Regarding Conversions to Chances.
The best I have seen as a local boy, would have to be by Far and away Jason Tromboli, this guy is a freak in front of goals and is still scoring I hear. Years ago I used to play with another lethal left footer who was Steve Papadopoulos. What I like about these guys, is their ability to be so composed at the right time. I have seen some brilliant goals by some players in the Amatuer League even now but only to be dissapointed by the stock standard chances that go by. There is a young player "Pro" who seems to have that touch, but he is in the professional leagues.
My question is , "is this instinct , or is can it be trained ?" How do you train composure !!

I'll have to go for MJ too (Kopite w@nker) or the mighty Sid, he definately makes my job easier every week!! They should both be still playing A's but MJ likes his Farmers Union too much, and Sid has got a stone in his shoe!!
