Lazio V Juve

Re: Lazio V Juve
It's been a good start from us. Iaquinta was clearly onside, but I'm confident we can get a positive result here after the start we've had.
Re: Lazio V Juve
my stream stopped for a minute after Grygera and Pandev went off, next time I know it was a goal! That is exactly what we needed. Sissoko out of the second leg I think the commentators just said.
Re: Lazio V Juve
Don't know why Sissoko was taken off for Marchisio. That left us with 2 creative midfielders trying to deal with Lazio, who got even stronger in this time. Luckily Poulsen is on now. Foggia is having a cracker.
Re: Lazio V Juve
If we can keep it to 2-1 then we can do the business in Turin. But yeh, it was a bad decision and may decide this match. Not to say that Lazio have not deserved to score.BAGGIO 15 wrote:That dissallowed goal is going to cost us.
Re: Lazio V Juve
Getting the away goal was good, losing the lead not so good. The offside goal will be a point of contention that obviously did change the game but Lazio did play well and deserved to score at least once. Not sure why Ranieri had two creative midfielders in the center at one point, why not take off Tiago for Marchisio, why Sissoko? Stuffs up the balance and during that time Lazio scored.
Still the tie is evenly poised heading into the second leg.

Re: Lazio V Juve
tbh was a massive improvement comparing our 2nd half to our 1st.
As for the Iaquinta goal, lets call it justice served given Rubentus' recent history with refereeing decisions.
Despite that, you still needed a laziale to score for you.
First win over Juve since 2004 Coppa final.

Good finish by Marchionni.
Why wasn't Nedved also rested for this game?
We SHOULD be able to score at least one in Turin in the return leg.

Re: Lazio V Juve
Credit to Lazio, they were in great form, must be that rags to riches form that Lazio have become known for this season, so many ups and downs for the Lazio tifosi.

This season? we've been like this for yearsBAGGIO 15 wrote:Credit to Lazio, they were in great form, must be that rags to riches form that Lazio have become known for this season, so many ups and downs for the Lazio tifosi.
Nedved caused us quite a few problems in that 1st half. Wouldn't have been smart to rest him.David Puddy wrote:Good finish by Marchionni.

True but i think Giovinco would have troubled the Lazio defence more with his pace, keeping in mind that Juve play Torino and then Chelsea next, where Nedved is a vital part of the Starting XI

Getborn, you must be a bit slow, read the court verdict and no were does it say guiilty of match fixing or corruption.
If you haven't read it then you are making the typical uneducated statements of a person who reads only headlines and not the content of an article, educate yourself.

the court verdict may not say it but everyone knows that Juve have been heavily corrupt in both the offices and the medical rooms over the last 20 years.BAGGIO 15 wrote:Getborn, you must be a bit slow, read the court verdict and no were does it say guiilty of match fixing or corruption.

FFS, the anti-doping authorities were calling for you to hand back a whole bunch of titles in the 90s so when you get goals disallowed, no one is going to feel sorry for you.

Re: Lazio V Juve
Isn't it great how some Juve fans (you get the occasional 'tino ) becoming experts in referees all of a sudden but for years couldn't tell a penalty from a goal kick.
Yes Inter have corrupted the league and Juve were innocence victims that were unfairly punished
Hopefully they keep crying about the refs for eternity, I'd never get sick of it.

I don't like lies. I have understood your market where sometimes lies sell more than truth. This is your life and I don't like it. I understand your work and I have to work with you, but the protection of my group is much more important than you

The difference is I may complain, but don't call it cheating (unless its Inter ), it happens for and against.
I am not blind enough to not see that many things went our way in the past, it just amazes me when others claim I or we Juventus fans are asking for sympathy as Laziale implied, not at all, just commenting on an incorrect call and giving credit to Lazio for a great 2nd half. Sounds like only fools turn around and highlight only that which backs their statements as Laziale has above.
May need to jog your memory and reread the early posts in this topic.
As for Inter and Translators comments, well there are just are ridiculas as your coaches who has the lack of common sense to say Juventus have been favoured by the refs this season, the whole world see's it the other way around as in Inter getting the role of the dice.
Yeah I call it corruption because only someone who's blind would not say the same things that Juve were accused of are happening at Inter, only unproven, as they were unproven when dirrected at Juve.
Re: Lazio V Juve
This is all I do. Not here to say one team is doing this, or they are getting favoured, or ask for any sympathy. The decision was wrong, plain and simple. If Juventus had benefitted from an offside goal I would be the first to say it was offside. I may hate Inter, but if something controversial comes up, I'll call it as I see it, you cannot hold bias in that instance. If the call is onside then it is onside, or offside etc.BAGGIO 15 wrote:just commenting on an incorrect call

I posted Mourinho's comments elsewhere not sure what the issue is with them. He's had an attack at the media (as he always does) and highlighted the biases coverage in the media that looks like an intellectually challenged attempt to twist public opinion. Was he wrong when he claims Juve have also benefited from ref decisions this year? Went over the line when he talked about not rocking up to matches but took his comments to the ridiculous to show how stupid its been.BAGGIO 15 wrote: As for Inter and Translators comments, well there are just are ridiculas as your coaches who has the lack of common sense to say Juventus have been favoured by the refs this season, the whole world see's it the other way around as in Inter getting the role of the dice.
So we're as corrupt as Juve, but Juve haven't done anything :?BAGGIO 15 wrote:Yeah I call it corruption because only someone who's blind would not say the same things that Juve were accused of are happening at Inter, only unproven, as they were unproven when dirrected at Juve.
I think you have a short memory or are extremely young if your comparing now to then.
You have one of incidents now being called scandals, was Balotelli's penalty call worse than Juve's in '84 European Cup final? Maybe that was rigged too.
Comparing one off mistakes to the one way traffic refereeing of the past is a long stretch.
But let's run with the corruption theory though, which club has had the most weeks suspensions by video footage this year?
I'll give you a clue, the club you claim control the refs.
