it would be of very much help if anyone knows of any teams with spots in the under 17 age group

It might pay to ring Para Hills Knights. They (for some reason ) pick the U19s after they have already picked the U17s. Subsequently some 17s try out for the 19s and from what I have been told at least two 17s have made the 19s.

I think I shall now have to revisit my discussion about E&D players to U17 Fed, it seems like anyone can get a game. I guess it is a tough age with work / girls / study etc
