Ingle Farm Soccer Club Pre Season & Coaching Announcements

Post by Jay Walking »

Ingle Farm Soccer Club will begin its Preseason training on Tuesday January 20, 2008 at 7:00pm.

Everyone is invited down to shake dust the cob webs off the boots and lose some of those Xmas Kgs

New players are always welcome down and if you would like to know more about the club, please feel free to PM me. Over the last few years we have been fortunate enough to save some great success on the field backed up by a strong group of helpers off the field.

Ingle Farm Soccer Club would also like to announce its coaching staff for Season 2009.

Club Coach: Paul Simpson
1st Team Assistant: Alan Leadbeater
Reserves Coach: Billy Graves
C Team Coach: Jason Walker
O/35's Coach: TBC

Again, for more information, please refer to our club website, http://www.inglefarmsoccerclub.com or simply PM with some details.

Tough ask but we will certianly try. A few guys may move on into the Dad's Army team or retire so who knows. Depends on who comes and goes for the first team also.

Hopefully we can do the Double in both A's and B's :D

Are you talking about cup wins or leauge wins?
I think cup, coz Downs ressies won the leauge by goal difference in 2007.
I think my drinking club has a soccer problem.....

It was my goal he disallowed. Still if we had scored with the 5 other chances it wouldn't of mattered.

Just a reminder, Tuesday is the big day back!! Make sure your out there!!

Robbed....?
Your right jay, the end of the day it goes over the season as well.

Sound like we were robbed a tad last year, when you played the catch up round with parafield. Few dubious descisons there to help secure you guys the win adn hence the leauge. All good though.
Alwaysa great comp when its close. Puts the pressure on. Cant wait for this year. Hopefully ill be back in for a kick around.

We used a couple of get out of jail cards last year. I remember one dubious decision going our way against parafield but a lot of that match was a blur. It does even out of the course of a year.

Its been great the battles between us in the last 2-3 years. It makes it worthwhile playing ressies for those sort of games. The game at your ground last season when we won 3-2 was better than a lot of first team games I have seen in Div 2.

I'm only a C Team player this season though. I'm coaching them this year after we fired our poor mans verision of Capello, Shaken Not Stirred :) Plus the B's had a vote that I should never play for them again :(

No comment Jay Walking.... I am still consulting my lawyers on compensation after unlawful dismissal  .

That Gardens catch up night game did have an official ref but I think most of us were left scratching our heads at the penalty call, handball I believe. Never the less, I guess that made up for our club ref Glen disallowing the winning goal the previous year against the Downs which cost the Ressies the league. Jay Walking is still sour about that moment as he was the goal scorer Rexie.

By the sound of it, should be a cracking year with most clubs topping up there players lists... can't wait.

There certainly is a BBQ. We are having a Family Day one Sunday and there is a BBQ or food every Thursday night after training.
