I'm seriously lost for words at how bad this guy is. I can't believe that people have said he was the best LB in the Serie A last season. I don't watch a lot of Serie A, but if he was the best player in a position in that league, then that league has serious problems. He would struggle to make the starting XI in a CC Championship side.
He can't defend to save his life and he can't cross a ball. What sort of fuckin fullback is that? :?

Yeah I've never been much of an Aurelio fan either, but when I compare him to Dossena, I think to myself..'whats so bad about this guy? He may not be great, but better him on the field than Dossena'.

Personally (and I've thought this for a long, long time) I don't think we need a new RM. Pennant has the potential to be really good, but he is never given the chance. Im probably gonna get slated like crazy for this, but he offers us natural width (something Kuyt does not), he opts to beat his man and put a cross in majority of the time (which is what a winger should do) and he's got quick feet. He may not have an abundance of pace, but he would be more than adequate on that right hand side I feel.
But since Pennant is more than likely gonna move on, and even if he were to stay, would not be given first team opportunities anyway, a new RM should be on our shopping list.
The problem is..who should we go for?
