Arsenal v Everton
Arsenal have won 11 and drawn one of the last 12 home league games against Everton.
The Merseysiders last win away against Arsenal came in January 1996 when they won 2-1.
The Toffees have lost away more often at Arsenal (13 times) than against any other opponent in the Premier League.
Tim Cahill has scored in his two appearances against the Gunners, but will be suspended for this match.
Robin van Persie has scored two goals in three appearances against the Toffees.
Arsenal have conceded in 14 league games in 2008 and have only won four of them.
Everton’s biggest defeat in the Premier League came away at Arsenal in May 2005 0-7 and this is also the Gunners’ record win in the Premier League.
Prior to their defeat by Hull last time out, Arsenal had kept four clean sheets in a row at the Emirates Stadium.
Everton have conceded exactly two goals in each of their last four league matches and it’s now 12 matches since they last kept a shut out.
Arsenal have hit the woodwork five times this season – more than any other club.

H/T Arsenal 0-1 Everton. Everton are playing well but i expect Arsenal to come back.
Re: Arsenal v Everton
We will be lucky to grab a point based on the first half.
Fellani is a ****.
Tell fabregas to get a f***ing hair cut, and start working like the player that was rated highly last season. Not some show pony who just won Euro and doesn't care anymore! Losing Flamini has screwed us big time + Hleb = crosses to Ade

The writing has been on the wall for most of this season, sure we could come back tonight, but we aren't moving forward by making the same mistakes as last season. Chasing games all the time isn't going to put us in the title race.

2-1! RVP!!!!!!
Walcott making a huge difference this half, a gun impact player.

Re: Arsenal v Everton
im fed up with wenger
why does he persist with tactics that dont work?? sure we've come back but we r lucky and luck will win us fuck all this season or next how hard is it to put eboue at rb where he belongs and song in dm where he belongs
he has to stop being so stubborn and play the team they way its built to play not as an experiment its unfair on fans and the players! THIS ARSENAL FOOTBALL CLUB NOT WENGERS EXPERIMENTAL TOY
dont get me wrong wenger is a fantastic manager but he gives me the shits with his stubborness, and these great young players that r coming of age will leave the club before the last ones to make up his "wonder squad" are ready to join!
i dont care if we win the epl this season i really dont but i do expect to see fucking progress not a step backwards, we have no depth or consistancy
thank fuck for theo and nasri

ARS EVN
Shots (on Goal) 24(11) 7(2)
Fouls 9 17
Corner Kicks 6 4
Offsides 4 4
Time of Possession 63% 37%
Yellow Cards 2 4
Red Cards 0 0
Saves 1 8
our sot just aint good enuf we are averaging almost 20 shots a game we should be killing teams.
although im happy with the three points the concerns of most gooners prior to the season beggining are being seen.

you'd be loving it, well done theo for saving his betpires7 wrote:Theo! Theo! Theo! the sweet strike of 36 euros!
we definitely are missing those 2 players mentioned, Gilberto not so much as he didn't play as much but surely Wenger needs to go and buy some footballers
i wouldn't mind getting Inhler from Udinese, Giovinco would've been a brilliant signing.
WE NEED DEPTH
ps. strap you're right, the win was never in doubt even at 1-0 down, we looked like we were going to score 1st half just a matter of time
