They have moved it back to St.Bernards and will open up the courts after 2pm to full size. Would be interested to know which teams are playing this year. I know the Modbury lads and Rostrevor kids have put a team in..

Aren't modbury the team to beat every year...and they get beaten???

Ive heard rumors that the game at 2.20 at campbelltown is gonna be a heated encounter, as liam moller has dogged out his old team to play with so called "state level players," so needless to say, a certain someone is going to be targeted.

Personally, im gonna go check it out, cos it will be a terrific match to watch cos everyone will be getting stuck in hard.

btw. modbury arent the only team to get a terrific offseason signing

I'm currently looking for a squad to join. I went to Canberra this year for the Nationals with one of the Youth Teams. I haven't got a team yet, because my mates didn't want to play anymore. Anyone looking for players in there team let me know. PM me.

Thanks!

soz. was in a hurry. to clarify the statement. Certain people say modbury are the team to beat every year....meaning they think themselves above and beyond the quality of any other team...yet they dont seem to win every game?

Really, what im saying is...if your gonna talk up your team, make sure you back it up with performances

Liam Moller is a top kid with a high level of commitment towards his football and FUTSAL. If you have been asked to represent your state or play in a team that will give you a decent chance of flying to Canberra come January 09, you wouldnt knock it back. Its not as if he is playing with another group of friends..?

Gunners, sounds like sour grapes to me. :D

Does ANY team win every game :clown:

They have been in the final for the last three or four years you will find.

All teams have 'off' days too, depends who you have it against doesn't it :|

"State team" not as dominant as some would have thought...were very lucky to come away with a win yesterday against Aston Killa FC.

Anyone have any comments on how other teams preformed or what their results were???

While Aston Killa FC had some handy players, they were out done by a better side.

Knights made Aston Killa look better than what they were by making a lot of silly errors. Still though, they looked the better of two sides.

Gunners, its hardly the state team? 4 players in that team have represented the state before, i agree they didnt stand out as they should have, which has opened up doors for others.

The final score in the modbury game was 7 or 8 to 2, not a bad effort considering they only had 5 players. the team they played were called dolmathes
