The Competition will commence on Thursday 2nd of October 2008.

Athelstone are already running a comp there.
Another comp will destroy the pitches totally.
The pitches need NAB's comp like a dose of weedkiller!
They are already overused in the normal season and NAB have no respect for them at all.

Athelstone Soccer Club says that as long as we stay off the pitches for the two weeks in December and all of January that is all they need.

What do you mean they need? Aren't the pitches maintained by the council? With another dry summer coming up I'd hate to play you guys next season on potential bare dirt.
