Tonight's U/13 Semi- Finals

Cumberland will meet Adelaide City in the U/13 Cup Final . After a delayed start due to lighting problems , Cumberland went out to an early 2-0 lead before eventually winning 3-0 ( I think ) In the later game , a scoreless first half saw Panthers take the game to the more fancied Adelaide City . City dominated early in the 2nd half , scoring from a well taken free kick , most keepers would have struggled with . Panthers almost replied straight away with a well weighted cross from the right , only just kept out by a desperate City . City finally believed they iced the game with a 2nd goal ( just a hint of off-side? ) but Panthers didn't drop their heads and were rewarded with goal with 10min. to go . They pressed hard for an equaliser but sadly , the ref's whistle beat them .Top quality game , City deserved their victory but the Panther girls walked off with their heads held high.
