Juventus 95th Best Team In World!
Manchester United are the best team in the world, according to the International Federation of Football History & Statistics, while Juventus are incredibly only down in 95th.The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) regularly updates a club world ranking throughout the season, using a complex study of statistics.
These include the results of 12 months of continental and intercontinental competitions, domestic league matches, as well as other calculations.
Manchester United remain the number one ranked team in the world following their recent Champions League victory in May.
Somewhat surprisingly Scottish runners-up Rangers, who last week crashed out of the Champions League preliminaries at the hands of Lithuanian minnows Kaunas, are in second place, with Chelsea in third and Bayern Munich and Barcelona completing the top five.
Other 'big' hitters in the top 50 include Sao Paulo (11), Getafe (17), Arsenal de Sarandí (18), Audax Italiano (37) and Atlético Nacional Medellín (43)
One huge European name that is nowhere to be seen is Italian superpower Juventus, who only just sneak into the top 100, way down in 95th place.
The Top 10:
1. (1.) Manchester United FC England
2. (4.) Glasgow Rangers FC Scotland
3. (2.) Chelsea FC London England
4. (3.) FC Bayern Munich Germany
5. (5.) FC Barcelona Spain

Lazio are 61st
a pointless exercise to rank clubs outside of league competition.

4 points for a winJuventino wrote:Would love to see the calculations for this sort of list!
Juve = 20*4 = 80
2 points for a draw
Juve = 12*2 = 24
so thats 104, I pressume 12 other points came from Coppa Italia
UEFA: Champions League: 14 - 7 - 0 points for win - draw - defeat
UEFA Cup: 12 - 6 - 0 points for win - draw - defeat
bull the comps not that close in standard <insert Bolton>
So with a good UEFA cup run, 2nd in a league ranked 3/4 and winning scottish cup, no wonder Rangers are second.

Look mate, really not arguing this with you, football is all about history. Past results, games, refereeing decisions and cup final wins are being spoken about even as I type this. Real Madrid has more trophies than Manchester United, we were honoured as the biggest club of the 20th century, you don't have to be a genius to understand which is the bigger club, Manchester United is a massive club as well but Real Madrid is bigger.

Re: Juventus 95th Best Team In World!
To all these Man USA fans who want to dispute Madrid's success in the past.
Let's assume the money moves away from Man U and in 40 years time teams with less titles are saying your titles in the recent decade don't count, it was so long ago blah blah. You wouldn't have a bar of it![Idea :idea:](./images/smilies/icon_idea.gif)
