It's a shame none of these games were broadcast.

Results august 9th:

Group E
Sweden 1 Argentina 0
Canada 1 China 1

Group F
Nigeria 0 Germany 1
brasil 2 North Korea 1

Group G

New Zealand 0 Norway 1

I saw the Canada v China match on sbs last night. The game really came alive in the first half after the two goals. That draw eliminated Argentina who had lost earlier in the day. In group F Nigeria are also eliminated after two matches. All four sided from Group G can still qualify for the quarterfinals. Norway will win the group if they get at least a draw against Japan. With my wife being Japanese we'll be watching that one. :D

Group F: North Korea 0 Germany 1

The German goal should have been disallowed. Quite a clear pull of the North Korean shirt by the Prinz racing into the box prior to the tap in. Having said that the Korean keeper should have held on to that shot.

Not a result I had hoped for (or expected). There goes my bragging rights, although to be fair Norway played shít in the second half. Amazing the number of foul throws that weren't picked up in either of today's games and both teams were guilty of it.
