Re: FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE GULLY
We have two parallel pitches under lights - ressies / A Team will overlap by about 20 mins - no 30 min halves!

Re: FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE GULLY
Can we go there and bet how long your coach will last?
Sorry couldn't resist, I have no idea about the Politics down there, but you get rid of your coach and he goes on to win the League and unfortunately for you, Gully are half the team they were last year!

Re: FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE GULLY
We whipped you last game didnt we Knight7?
Injuries and players leaving for various reasons doesn't help. If the coach don't fit dont keep him I say....
You could argue that we won three premierships in a row with a new coach each year? did we have 3 other brilliant coaches that we will miss? I think not.
Do we miss last years coach - no ....

For the record you "whipped us" 2-1 and are currently above us (on goal difference) so looks like you made the correct choice - hopefully you won't come close to winning anything this year so your coach will be safe

Current coach on the usual one year deal I believe, so you should be able to submit your application sometime in Oct-08 Knight7

Re: FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE GULLY
I played at the gully for 4 seasons and i think i had 6 coaches! One of those years they sacked the coach on the eve of the 1st rd, after 3 wins and a draw pre season!!
I suggest whoever is there now (hass) comes home to the east. He can perhaps restore some of the pride and respect that's been thrown out the window this year from ugly sideline incidents and a lack of players who want 1st team football.
Oh and hass, feel free to bring Derek Simpson with you.

your team has gained promotion , well done
watched the first half of your game on sunday, some unknown faces in your team from what i saw last year, counted 3-4 new players in there.
you must be happy with that
