Alonso? I want Stankovic - Ranieri
Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri has revealed his desire to sign Dejan Stankovic in order to add some much needed strength in midfield, despite the fans protesting the Serbian's signature.
Several players have been on the Bianconeri's radar including Stankovic, Xabi Alonso and Alberto Aquilani. Indeed, Alonso's deal seems to have stalled recently and Stankovic has been tipped as the obvious alternative.
Now, Ranieri has revealed he would in fact prefer the Serbian international and is not worried by the fans' widespread anger.
“I want to bring in a midfielder who will allow me to change and play various tactical systems,” Ranieri told the Corriere Dello Sport.
“Stankovic? He's a player that I like. He has great technical qualities and he can play in four positions in midfield.
“I wouldn't be worried about having Stankovic and I am convinced that, after three or four games, the fans would think of Dejan as one of us.
“He's the complete player and I would like him at Juventus.”
Reports in Italy claim that Stankovic could arrive sooner rather than later if Alonso's potential move to the Olimpico breaks down.
The former Chelsea coach is now likely to go for the Serbian over Alonso as the Inter man would cost much less. Spanish international Alonso is currently mulling over his future and this may ruin the deal, allowing Ranieri to hurry through his desired capture of Stankovic.

If Lampard is signed then Stank won't be a starter... even if he's not he was one of the first ones reportedly unwanted and up for sale by Jose... if last year's performances are anything to go by, then Stank can leave and will be comfortably replaced...

I don't care if he's Gods son, hes an Inter scum who has insulted us and doesn't deserve our $$$ or the honour of wearing our Black and White strip. PISSSSSSOFF, sack Ranieri as well then, I'm that mad about this scum possibly coming.

Maybe you should start a internet fan poll.......oh wait they already did that
Still would sit handy on the left or right of midfield, rather Deki than Vieira or Figo. Even assuming Lampard comes and starts (which I'm not convinced he'll do better than Deki), once you add Cambiasso & Capitano we're still one short in midfield without Deki.adriano10 wrote:If Lampard is signed then Stank won't be a starter... even if he's not he was one of the first ones reportedly unwanted and up for sale by Jose... if last year's performances are anything to go by, then Stank can leave and will be comfortably replaced...

Deki >>> Lampard
Lampard, much hyped because of the league and club he plays at.
Stankovic may be a c*nt, but his ability is unquestionable. He played through injury much of this year.

As long as Juve don't do their preseason in Calabria I'm sure Deki will be fine

not sure I understand what you're getting at. Do you mean when Agnelli was the president of la lega in the 60's or Galliani pre Calciopoli

yeah right, nothing about illegal phone taps and former Inter people running the investigations and getting high paying jobs at Inter owned company's after the relegation of Juve. Talk it up,Inter are more corrupt then the rest.Insp. Montalbano wrote::?BAGGIO 15 wrote: Refs? possible only way to beat a club with the leagues henchmen and the countries judges in their pocket.

Umberto President of la lega for two years and two Juve scudetti, one of them including the famous replay that helped Juve clinch the title.
Everyone in Italy knows that had the Agnelli family still be around nothing would have happened to Juve but of course Juve are the victims I know I know
Nice of Giraudo & Moggi to bolt and leave the club to hang. But of cause it was all Berlusconi, Moratti & Montezemolo that frame them.
I'm sure the monkeys wrote a song about Juve supporters

found the lyrics for youInsp. Montalbano wrote: I'm sure the monkeys wrote a song about Juve supporters
Oh, I could hide neath the wings
Of Agnelli as he sings.
The six oclock alarm would never ring.
but its rings and I rise,
Wipe the sleep out of my eyes.
My mobiles being tapped and it stings.
Cheer up, sleepy Gobbi.
Oh, what can it mean.
To a daydream believer
And a homecoming Serie B.
You once thought of Moggi
As a white knight on a steed.
Now you know how happy calcio can be.
Oh, and your good times starts and end
Without Zlatan to the end.
But how many refs did you really need.
Cheer up, sleepy Gobbi
Oh, what can it mean.
To a daydream believer
And a homecoming Serie B.

Its the wrongs of late that I care about and the lack of proof. I'm referring to the way match fixing was delt with, isn't that obvious but its convenient that you highlight other things about 2 scudetti when Umberto was president, anything wrong with them? Proof please this is not ment to be run like the farce you guys hung us out for.
