Birkalla - Sturt 4 - 4

Good, exciting game. Birks came out and fluffed it in the first ten minutes - conceded two goals. Came back though strongly to score. Sturt fired an immediate reply (1-3 at that point) and from there it was a damned good game. Sturt had a goal disallowed (offside) but overall, the high scoring draw was a good result for both teams.

One Birkalla lad came off after a clash of heads, didn't really recover and was taken away by an ambulance with a 'mild concussion' - he was deathly white, favouring one side and close to vomiting (may have).

Great second half by Gawler after a dominant first by Enfield. Enfield didn't like Gawler bringing it up to them in the second half and the coach had good little winge about it to the ref after the game. Thats football fellas, you will be in the A league next year get used to it.
