I think you'll find that this tournament will inevitably be the last for a few oldies and a wake up call for the supposed new breed of Greek football. Players like charisteas/basinas and dellas will not be featuring in the up-coming World cup qualifiers and shouldn't seeing the abundance of youth players coming through the ranks. Their U19 and U17 teams have all featured in the semi-final and final of the junior championships so it will be up to their German leader to see if he has the balls to blood through some of these exciting talents. Players like Katsouranis/Samaras and Antzas have a lot to answer for, as they showed nothing. The next 2 years will be a big test for a country that has tasted European glory, but has yet to deliver on bigger stage.

Look Greece played like shit the first game game to their credit came out with some fight against russia, a goalkeeping error costing us a the game. In the sweden game although we played like shit a freak goal from ibra and then another goalkeeping error for the second goal - conceded 3 goal - 2 mistakes and one great goal.

also with the offside decision for greece, isnt the offside "position" meant to be ruled from where the players feet is and not their chest?
