Rd 9, Sat 14 June Predictions

Post by No Clever Alias »

SPOC 3 vs 2 Wanderers (2-0 Ressies)
Navarino 0 vs 4 Gleeson (1-3)
BOSA 2 vs 2 Adelaide Uni (0-2)
Modbury 3 vs 0 Old Iggies (1-1)
Stirling 2 vs 1 Africa Utd (2-0)

It's a big game this weekend, and in recognition SPOC SC are supporting the Cancer Council's Call to Arms campaign on Saturday. We will be wearing yellow armbands and collecting donations to support cancer research for men, so if you're playing or coming to watch please bring some loose change (or bigger) along!

Haha. That'll be the day all those boys are out!!! How much has Bazzale played this year anyway, hasn't he been injured? To humour you, where are they all?

Saints 1 - 1 Wanderers
Navorino 0 - 4 Gleeson ( A few regulars out with suspension, wont be a 14 -1 caining  )
Bosa 0 - 0 UNi
Mod 3 - 1 Iggies
Stirling 0 - 1 Africa

Gleeson to play St Peters in the cup and then a week later in the league, will be a couple of interesting wk ends..Gleeson have won 3 out of the last 3 times they have met..

SPOC 2 vs 1 Wanderers (2-0 Ressies) - Wanderers will be flat after a big win last week & they have 5 players out.
Navarino 1 vs 2 Gleeson (1-3) - Nav will show a bit of heart
BOSA 2 vs 2 Adelaide Uni (0-2) - Both teams hungry after a tough week
Modbury 3 vs 1 Old Iggies (3-1) - Iggies will get a goal only because of their cool supporter songs. The tractor song was very funny.
Stirling 2 vs 1 Africa Utd (1-0) - We will get up in a very tough game.

SPOC 1 vs 1 Wanderers (1-2)
Tight one, if there is a winner it'll be by one goal but couldn't tell you which way...

Navarino 0 vs 2 Gleeson (1-2)
Navarino struggling. Gleeson not hitting great form yet.

BOSA 2 vs 1 Adelaide Uni (0-2)
BOSA to get back to winning ways.

Modbury 1 vs 0 Old Iggies (1-3)
Hopefully tighter than ladder suggests. Own Tyson like JJ did 2 weeks ago and could even get the draw.

Stirling 3 vs 2 Africa Utd (2-0)
Another close game, Stirling only just - because at home.

They arent young anymore.. Incomplete pre-season has taken its tole on the older boys.. Barabaros and Brazzale are injured, the other two suspended..
Wont make a difference anyway, Wanderers know how to win, even with ten men for 85 minutes against a so-called contender who Saints drew with..

Yet you drew with the bottom side who only had 10 men for awhile....

SPOC 0 vs 1 Wanderers (1-3)
Not alot in this at all, possibly a draw but probably a goalless one. Not alot of goals today. :?

Navarino 0 vs 2 Gleeson (1-2)
Gleeson look strong this year and should wrap Navarino up easily. :!:

BOSA 1 vs 1 Adelaide Uni (0-2)
Uni a good side, haven't seen Bosa this year a draw on what I'm told. 8)

Modbury 3 vs 0 Old Iggies (2-4)
Tyson is one of many problems Iggies will face.

Stirling 3 vs 2 Africa Utd (2-0)
I agree Stirling only just, because at home. :(

Isn't there a big game for Vipers in 2 weeks against Villa, which based on the current table would have the 2 equal top teams playing each other?
