I seem to remember a comment on the forums pre-season referring to a Croydon v Comets game where a player was injured while running on the Ellis park pitch.

you wont believe how bad it was..a few players from my team complained that they almost rolled their ankles a few times..and the ball would always bounce up...it was ridicolous

Ellis Park is the worst pitch ive seen in years, i played on it today, i heard they resurfaced and patched the ground up at start of year too lol

still no excuses for any team playing on ellis park. It may happen to opposition players or it may happen to Comets players. Either way both teams had to play on the same pitch and it looks like some one is trying to make an excuse
Plus having the glendi on the park just before season doesn't help the cause..

i didnt say it was the pitches fault we lost..i am just saying that comets should fix it up because one day some is seriously going to get hurt
