We beat Ireland and then lost to Nigeria in the Final ... 2-0

Some really good results over there, the only disappointing thing being the non-selection of a couple of promising overseas players, for example James Wesolwski (held spot in Leicester City midfield), Neil Kilkenny (Leeds United midfield general), Ryan McGowan (a central defender, made debut for Hearts recently) and David Williams.
The list is large, if a little more obscure as you go down -
Nathan Coe (FC Copenhagen), Oliver Bozanic (Reading), Rostyn Griffiths (Gretna, on loan from Blackburn), Chris Herd (Aston Villa), Scott Jamieson (Bolton), James Meredith (Shrewsbury), Matthew Park, Rocky Visconte (Hearts), Aleks Vrteski (FC Podeba in Macedonia) and Chris Tadross (B Moenchengladbach) could have been options to have at least been given a go during the warm-up tournament. Some of them may not have been playing for their club sides, but surely schooling at the likes of Bolton and Hearts is worth something.
Any thoughts?
Lastly, great to see Chris Coyne FINALLY get a look in at Socceroo level after many solid years in the English Championship.
