MOST EXCITING UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE/EUROPEAN CUP FINAL

I wrote in a post something to do with the 2005 Champions League final being more exciting than this recent final...and also wrote that that arguement was for another day, but today is as good as any other so what are your thoughts boys, my personal favourites are Real Madrid 7-3 Eintracht Frankfurt (even though im sure most of you haven't seen the game and probably no one else will vote for it), AC Milan 3-3 Liverpool FC, Manchester United 2-1 Bayern Munich and last but certainly not least Real Madrid 3-2 AC Milan aet (again none of you have seen this game so im wasting my time lol)

Hate to agree with two liverpool wins, but he hit the nail on the head...... i was at the rosemont for the 3-3 Milan Vs Liverpool game and had a bet on that liverpool would win 4-3......... almost got there in the end too. it has to go down as the best for the fact that it had everything, dirty tackles, poor ref decisions, skill, flair, flares, two groups of passionate supporters, goals, penalties........ everything!!

Im aware that the West Ham Vs Liverpool game was only FA Cup, however in regards to cup finals that would have to be close behind the UCL 05' Game for sure!!

They played so well and destroyed barcelona and savicevic's goal from the line was brilliant zubizeretta was left stranded! Milan's defence was one of the best with maldini, baresi, tassotti and billy costacurta!

Surely you watched the Madrid game (7-3) after it was played, so I can't see how you can say that one. A game is only really exciting when watching if you don't know the outcome.

Having said that, I still think Gudjohnsen will score every time I see him in the last minute v Liverpool in the 05 semi!!

Today is not a day to knock Man Utd and their fans, it's their day, but the 99 final wasn't exciting, Utd just made it that way in the last 2 mins, up to then it was pretty ordinary.

Arguably one of the best defences of all time, but what made the victory against the 'superior' barca even more amazing was that baresi & billy weren’t even playing!

Great thing about that final was how the Spainsh were saying how easy it would be, how Italian football is too defensive and not enough goals etc etc. And Romario was wondering how many goals he should score. But then...oh wait lads, you lost 4-0

Real's 7-3 win the best - even the fans at Hampden Park stayed for an hour or so after the game in standing ovation.
My favourite was Liverpool's 3-1 win over Borussia Monchengladbach in 1977 as it was their first.

It wasn't so much the result that was exciting such as the AC Milan 3-3 Liverpool FC game...but it was more like observing a piece of art work, technically I believe that the Real Madrid 7-3 Eintracht Frankfurt game was superior to the AC Milan 4-0 FC Barcelona game. I don't really care about defence at all so for me I prefer to win 7-3 than 4-0, but really that Real Madrid game had a touch of class that I've never seen in any other game.
