Newcastle Reserves side end their season against Blyth Spartans in the final of the Northumberland Senior Cup at SJP tonight Wednesday, 23rd April @ 7.30pm.

NUFC: Forster, Morris, Lough, Doninger, Tozer, Kadar, Godsmark, Troisi, Donaldson, Baheng, LuaLua
Subs: Danquah, Soderberg, Marwood, Ferguson, Grieve.

Lets hope he get a goal or two.

Goalless after ninety minutes, the tie came to life five minutes into extra-time when Spartans took the lead through Andrew Leeson.

Almost straight from the kick-off Kazenga LuaLua fired in the equaliser from 25 yards.

Newcastle won the penalty shoot-out 4-3 when Marwood, LuaLua, Tozer and Doninger scored from the spot. Danquah was the only unsuccessful taker.

The only down side of the evening was an injury to Wesley Ngo Baheng who left the field with his right leg strapped. He was later spotted on crutches, relieving first fears of serious damage.
