galleria zoom Milan's defeat to Arsenal in the Champions League has strengthened calls for some major changes at the club, with most in and around the Rossoneri camp calling for fresh blood.
Amid this, president Silvio Berlusconi caused a surprise of sorts by suggesting that he wanted Andriy Shevchenko back at the club next season.
Milan have struggled to find goals ever since Sheva left, and the striker himself has been a shadow of his former self in the Premier League.
A reunion could thus benefit both parties, but Carlo Ancelotti has been left upset by the talk, or to be more precise, the timing of it.
"There is no point talking about this now," he snapped on Saturday evening. "We can discuss it at the end of the season, not before.
"I think that when president Berlusconi speaks, he speaks correctly. Now I think that the fourth place will arrive only if we improve the quality of our displays."
It remains to be seen, though, if Carlo himself be incharge heading into next season, despite assurances from the club's top brass.
He insists, though, that the backbone of the team will not change despite calls for radical measures.
"This team is still very competitive," he warned. "Today they are saying the same thing they were saying three-four years ago. Some players will stop, some new players will be added, but the bone structure of the squad is the right one."

Re: Ancelotti Upset By Sheva Talk
Yeah, I know, it seems mad if you follow the main transfer rumours - Drogba, Zambrotta, Shevchenko. Then again a 31 year old probably is youth and rejuvenation for Milan
That being said, if you look at all the transfer rumours that have been posted here Milan are after every major striker in Europe, so I wouldn't take it too seriously.
