Ronaldo's Mother: My Dream Is To See Him In Madrid
Cristiano Ronaldo's mum has said that it is her dream to see her son one day play for Real Madrid and if he does move then she will go to the Spanish capital too.
zoom - galleria Dolores Aveiro revealed her passion for Los Merengues during an interview with AS at her home on the island of Madeira, describing the club as the best in the world.
In a dramatic statement, she claimed that she would not be able to rest until she had seen her son play in the all white of Madrid.
"They are my favourite team, the best in the world," she said.
"If one day he were to leave England then I would really like to see him go to Madrid."
"I would not like to die without seeing my son playing there, then I could go knowing that my dream was fulfilled."
While rumours and reports have linked Ronaldo to Madrid in the past, Dolores understands though that no transfer from Manchester United is imminent.
"Maybe he cannot go now, but perhaps in a couple of years," she continued.
"If he moved to Madrid I would go and live with him there. I love that city."
According to AS, Ronaldo's career has been guided by his mother as she advised him about his early choices and told him to go to Sporting and not Benfica.

done deal then I'd say, it's obvious Ronaldo is still being breast fed
I don't like lies. I have understood your market where sometimes lies sell more than truth. This is your life and I don't like it. I understand your work and I have to work with you, but the protection of my group is much more important than you

hey bud, the guy has won more honours and is probably goin to win Eufa player of the year this year - than any other combined Greek player has!
BTW, winning 1 euro medal counts for diddly!

It's my fathers dream to see me shacked up with Kate Moss and lifting the FA cup at a packed Wembley for Millwall while simulataneously leading England to World Cup glory.
I wonder if that's going to happen, after all it's my father's dream.

big call, that one euro medal IMO is better in comparison to all the domestic cups you can win
Maybe a big call, but I agree with it. At club level it is based on ability and not your nationality. I mean would you really say George Best or George Weah were rubbish because they never played in any WC Finals, let alone won any international honours.katsouranis3 wrote:big call, that one euro medal IMO is better in comparison to all the domestic cups you can win

Predrag Mijatovic has suggested Real Madrid will no longer 'waste time' on trying to sign Cristiano Ronaldo and Cesc Fabregas.
Manchester United winger Ronaldo and Arsenal midfielder Fabregas have been long-term targets for the Spanish champions.
Reports of previous bids have circulated, but the Premier League title rivals have resisted any interest in their star players.
Real sporting director Mijatovic now appears to have conceded defeat in his attempts to persuade either United or Arsenal to sell.
"It is obvious that a player like Cristiano Ronaldo would be very welcome here, but he is at a great club in Manchester United," Mijatovic told Radio Marca.
"I see it as an impossible signing."
