And I can tell you now, if we play in Euro 08 like we played aganst the turks wed night, we will be up there. Just need to fine tune the finishing!

Nor has any nation held both Basketball & Football European titles at the same time except the old USSR and recently HELLAS. So excpect a good fight in the defence of the cup. Something like Metaxas lads in the Albanian Hills against the might of Italys Mussolini. We all know the Greeks won that one.

Napoli10 my friend, thats what the friends of the bloke in Sydney said to him after he put 25 grand at 250/1 on Greece winning EURO 04 but as they say, "the rest is HISTORY" and theres plenty of that "HISTORY" on the Eastern side of the Medeterranean :wink:

But just like urself, thats only my opinion :D

But on the reality side of things, its not going to be easy for anyone to win the EURO because you have 16 quality sides who are all capable of doing it, whoever brings there "A" game to the 2 week finals in Austria/Switzerland will win it, simple really.

Dont forget, Greece beat the Hosts and Favourite number 1, Portugal (twice on their home soil mind you), they beat the holder, France, and they beat Favourite number 2, Czechs to win EURO 04, even you must give them some credit for that, it wasnt easy but it was done.
And after watching the game v Turkey midweek, i must say Greece hasnt played that sort of attacking Football for as long as i can remember. Should of easily been 4 or 5 but with a bit of the King's (OTTO) training, we will learn to put those chances away and bury a team quicker and if we do, well fark me drunk, we will be a very hard team to beat but its all about who can have those 2 weeks in the final playing there best Football because they will be the Ulitimate King of EURO 08 :D

GO ELLAS, here we come.................AGAIN :D
