You dirty thieving Scouser

Post by delfino_1936 »

Apparently he got caught nicking pies from the Home supporter's kiosk and protested in his defence that the ones served to the Liverpool fans were so bad they hadn't been worth lifting!

Gerrard 'Distressed' After Collision
Updated: 20:43, Monday October 01, 2007

England and Liverpool star Steven Gerrard has been involved in a road accident which left a 10-year-old boy suffering a suspected broken leg.
The footballer was travelling in his black Bentley convertible in Birkdale, Southport, Merseyside, when the incident happened.

It is reported the boy ran into the side of the car near the entrance of Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School.

A spokesman for the Liverpool captain said Gerrard - awarded an MBE in March - had been driving "very slowly" and comforted the youngster until paramedics arrived.

He added: "Steven later attended a police station where he produced his driving documents as a matter of routine and made a statement about the accident.

"He was distressed over the accident and has been in contact with the boy's family to check his progress and plans to visit him in the next couple of days."

Heres some stats

Liverpool have won the league 18 times
Man Utd 16 and Arsenal 13. Yes i know we havent won the league recently but i admit 18 sounds a lot better than 13.

Liverpool are the third most succesful team in Europe with 5 European trophies. Only Milan and Real Madrid have more. How many do Arsenal have?

Liverpool have won the FA cup 7 times which is good and Arsenal have won it 10 times and Man Utd is the most succeful in this respect with 11 trophies.

League Cup 7 times, Arsenal 2 - even though this is not really important.

Charity Shield liverpool 15 times, Arsenal 12

Ok i wont take it away Arsenal are a succesful club with alot of history and success and im not trying to downgrade the club in any way. Im just wondering what is the message your trying to get accross? Stats speak for themselves.

well this season was quite orthodox cause Liverpool were on top on the last game of the season. We had to beat them 2-0 at Anfield which is what we did. So really that game counted for the whole season.

And what a game that was? 1988 wasn't it and Mickey Thomas scoring the league winning goal in the last couple of minutes. I'm not an arsenal supporter but what a day that was.

I know you went into that game needing to win at Anfield by two goals after Liverpool put five past Luton the previous week

1989.
Mickey Thomas's only contribution was that last minute goal. Other than that he was rubbish. I can't beleive Liverpool signed him after that.

yeh your right you won it at merseyside. Good stuff Congratulations

i would rather have 18 league titles instead of having 13 even if it meant recording a famous victory at emirates to take it out.
