Over 35's Soccer League kick offs/starts Sunday 2/4/2006

Post by Tzon »

The long running over 35's soccer league in Adelaide starts tomorrow Sundayb 2 April 2006.

I play for Manchester City over 35's.

In goals this days because trying to find a keeper is getting to be near impossible these days in our leagues.

We have had two trials pre-season.

Man City 3 v's Latin Knights 0 (from Div 2 in our league)
Man City 3 v's Modbury Vista C's 4 (external trial)

Our lads are geared up for tomorrow, with limited pre-season exercise, training, and loss of gerth weight.
However well trained in pre-season punting, amber fluid intake, and Sunday Roasts, and takeway food.

Our first game is against Latin Knights in Division 2

To all clubs have a great season.

Just came across this... but the website only has fixures for 2006. Could anyone give e fixtures for this season. I may consider playing next year... if anyone wants a goalkeeper

Just come out to uni grounds or Adelaide high on A Sunday morning and you'll find a team looking for a keeper.

Thanks for the info... I still have eight months to make a decision on what to do. I usually work sundays (afternoons) so the early kickoffs are attractive. 9:30-11:00 seems tight... you do play 45 minutes each way?
