sounds like sour grapes to me with u losing rivaldo to us. and ITS NOT LIKE OLYMPIAKOS IS GONNA PAST THE GROUP STAGE ANYWAY LIKE THEY HAVENT DONE IS PREVIOUS YEARS
yes very tough draw but with our signings anything can happen. I think we can win in greece, hopefully we can get a result in spain.

at least he says we are going to win in greece, so aek must be doing something right for people to think that we can beat a high profile team.
I do believe that an upset is on the cards, our first game is in spain and thats my only problem, if we were at home in the first game and came away with a 1-0 win, i think we could hold on in spain, but because we are going to have to chase the win in greece its gonna be hard, if we can score an away goal and only lose by 1 goal, we will go through, but if we cant score an away goal then it will be very hard.
WHat u think KOP?

yeh allright buddy take it easy just having a stir, kop knows what im like, not sour grapes for rivaldo, would have like to have kept him for at leas another season, but we have signed some good players so not bothered about rivaldo anymore, i agree with kop actually, i think aek can win at home, but away is a different story, at home it is very much a possibility thoughAEK_ATHENS wrote:sounds like sour grapes to me with u losing rivaldo to us. and ITS NOT LIKE OLYMPIAKOS IS GONNA PAST THE GROUP STAGE ANYWAY LIKE THEY HAVENT DONE IS PREVIOUS YEARS

depends how we go in Seville first.
a loss of any kind will see us out in my opinion. Sevilla would be very tough to come from behind from.
A draw and we are every chance.
No team won in Athens in the CL last season (including the Champions) so its definately possible see a win for AEK in the 2nd leg. But yeh a blowout in Seville, 2-0 3-0 or more and we're no hope. Theres no way we could score more than twice against quality opposition.
things on our side::
- Betis fans will be in Seville supporting AEK.
- Ferrer coached Betis, therefore hates Sevilla, also hasnt ever lost to Sevilla.
- New signing Arruabarrena is a left back, when his Villareal team played Sevilla last season, Dani Alves was ineffective and failed to score a single goal against the yellow submarines.
- No one expects us to win.
- The majority of AEKs starting XI speak Spanish.

i do believe you will cop 5..The Kop wrote:5 is a bit harsh mate.
We wont cop more than 3 in Seville.
they have a dominant attack force which you will shut down in athens but over in sevilla they will shine
1-0 seville
2-0 seville
3-0 seville
3-1 athens at that stage you'll have a glimmer of hope
4-1 seville
5-1 seville
