Jorvan Viera approached by the socceroos

The paper says Iraq coach Jorvan Viera has been approached by FFA.

Dick Advocaat still front runner allegedly with Pim Verbeek in the mix too.

Before the Cup...who the fuck was Viera? FFA may as well appoint another local.

i dont think the socceroos will get him, if they do i think it would be big mistake. we need someone with class, experince. someone who really know what hes doing both tactically and in terms of preparation.

i dont think we should have any coaches from asia . the amount of diving def would not be embraced by australians

yes i know this but my point is he has coached in asia for like the last 10 years . he knows the game in asia and i did not see his team stop diving . he obviously either tells them to dive or he allows it . if australia started to dive all the time and fake injury's you would not see me travel for a socceroo game again or care if it was on

the only thing i think he could offer australia is his knowledge of the asian game .

South americans are pretty good at diving too. It's not limited to Asia.
