grove up 4-3 when game called off due to bad light. What a load of crap, who ever organised the times for these games to kick off, allowing no time for any extra time, absolute joke, suppose what do you expect from SAWSA. Then they say they want to play the last 15 minutes on Wednesday night. Somehow i don't think we will bother.
GO THE GROVE

i dont tihnk they had time to allow for extra time as the games started at 8.45am...
therefore if they didnt allow for extra time they should have given the key to someone for the lights...
and playing oit on wednesday would be a waste of time seriously - i know i wouldnt personally get out and warm up for 15 bl00dy minutes what a joke...
that game tho looked reali exciting.. well done

The officials new that the game was going into extra time but STILL couldnt get anyone out to fire up the lights. (No-one had the key at the game) Good planning SAWSApecker wrote:grove up 4-3 when game called off due to bad light. Waisted a further 10 minutes after fulltime to debate about whether to turn the lights on or not.
Could have easily got someone down in time to play the extra 15 minutes on the day but couldnt be stuffed.
Then had the cheak to ask that they get help pulling the nets down in the dark.
U R KIDDINNG SAWSA
Despite all that the Cumby girls had a great game with only 7 players against a full sqaud from the Grove and led for pretty much all the game. Well done girls. Its just a shame that they probably would have to do the same in the finals if they can manage to score 2 in 15 minutes.
NOT WORTH THE WARM UP.
p.s
Grove in an upset to win the final
He cannot kick with his left foot, he cannot head a ball, he cannot tackle and he doesn't score many goals. Apart from that he's all right.

Can only play with the original 7 named on the team sheet.gubs wrote:does that mean that cumby are allowed 11 players for the final 15 mins to be played even tho they were only playing with 7 at the time? or do the numbers need to be the same?
if cumby can play with 11 then they'll win it in the last 15
No additions allowed

Someone mentioned that they only have 7 registered players at the game.BillShankly wrote:why did cumby only have 7 players?
Does this mean there Div 1 league side is topped up with Prems and/or U17's to make up there numbers?

Problem was that many players had ended up being cup tied with prems due to huge number of injuries early in the season.
This was made worse by the fact that many players who were available and wanted to play for reserves in cup (from div 2 etc) could not play as they had not played 5 games for reserves in normal league games.
Final problem was due to games which did not get played when other teams had forfieted to Cumby reserves. Had cumby's team sheet for the forfeited games counted then other players would have played the required 5 games, then they could probably have put a complete team out for the cup semi-final.
