A's Wanderers 2-1 Stirling

Stirling had wanderers pin backed much of the second half. A stirling freekick hit the cross-bar and their striker missed a penalty to make it 2-2. Wanderers were a good defensive unit, that hit well on the break.

Firsts: Africa Allstars 1 Old Ignations 5
Seconds: Africa Allstars 1 Old Ignations 2

Terrible weather, shocking pitch, poor refereeing, atrocious linesmen (on both sides) but all in all I think the Ignations deserved to win both games, although they left it late in the reserves with two goals in the last three minutes.

Wanderers aren't that bad after all..? Stirling had their so called "Dream Team" line up and were matched if not bettered in most positions

D's - Greenock 3-0 Vista
C's - Vista 6-3 Northern United
B's - ISC Raptors 2-2 Vista
A's - ISC Raptors 4-2 Vista

Pathetic refereeing in both a's and bs today away at ISC... ISC raptor was a blatant cheat allowing a raptors goal in the last ten minutes that was clearly at least 1.5 meters offside even after the linesman flagged... think he needs to brush up on the rulebook too! At the end of the day, Vista should have come away with three points even without this goal... scoreline should have been 5-1 really but way too many chances wasted.

A's referee was atrocious from the outset. giving many soft free kicks and lost control of the game early. Think he started to give the 50-50 balls against us coz of some mouthing off which was to be expected with a dismal display.

Vista will live another day!

Just thought id add this in for the raptors boys to pass on to their B team referee... its from a website with the soccer rules!

For example, slide tackling with spikes high would be dangerous play, even if the opponent isn't contacted.

So for the referee of the Bs game today and the loud mouthed ignorant defenders for the Raptors... A free kick is to be awarded WETHER OR NOT There is contact with the player if someone slides in with the studs showing up. There does not need to be contact as the foul is warded for dangerous intent! It is a bookable offence and can be given a red card for serious cases.

Ref lucky to be still breathing!
Must understand that people DO NOT come to see the ref official a game (stay unseen prick!) and needs to stay emotionally detached from side-line slander.

We don't need refs like that in this league!!!!!!!!!

gardens 3 - vale 3. vale went up 1 nil through michael brooks. stayed that way until half time. second half gardens equalised then went 2-1 up then 3-1 up with about 7 minutes to play the then vale made it 3-2 then equalised with a couple of minutes to go. matt peace had the game of his life if it wasnt for him it could of been at least 7 or 8-3 to the gardens. gaol scorers. gardens- andy o'malley, ibrahim and kirk burfet. vale- michael brooks and chris nicholls double.

I thought you lads walking off ended the game?

I agree with your qoute about no-one goes to watch the ref play, thats as good a qoute as I've seen on here.
Its very hard though to stay detached from the shoite coming from the sidelines mate, our game today was the same, no matter how good the ref is they are only human and enough abuse from the sidelines will end up in 50/50's going against you.
Our ref was not the best to say the least but I'm certain he was swayed by the sideline abuse he was getting so for that we only have ourselves (or our 'so called' support) to blame for it.

speaking to your first team coach after the game (with a couple of beers in hand), he made it very obvious that the referee in the B's game was one of the fairest he's come across. he also mentioned that your first goal was 2 meters offside but the ref over-ruled the home linesman and you blokes scored.

that ref also sent one of our players off against TTG - how many other B' team refs send their own players off????

Possibly.. the goal keeper wasn't the first team regular. He stuffed up his clearance to gift us the first goal. And similarly, one of the defenders made a bad pass across goal for us to slot the second. Bosna probably had a dozen chances to score but our keeper was awesome and their finishing was ordinary.

Very bad day at the office today for Vista.
I do have to disagree just a tad with your coments though FL.
Our 1st reserves goal was at least a yard offside and the imbros ref allowed play to go on so maybe he evened it up? I dont know because I didnt see the end of the 2nd half.

Also our A team's 1st half display today was one of the worst all season for many many different reasons, the 2nd half was much better and we were unlucky not to get a result which is partly due to 3 great saves from the Imbros keeper.

I agree the ref was not the best we've had (am I being polite?) but the abuse he got on and off the pitch was not good, and as I've said before he's human and he's (as we've seen before) going to lean towards the opposition if it gets too much.
We were on a loser from early in the 1st half.

I was waiting for some excuse from the vista vs raptors game. When a team gets outplayed and beaten fair and square......just accept it and say it wasnt your day. When raptors got done by pontians a few weeks ago , we accepted we got done by a betta team, no question fair and square! you can blame whoever you like but it wont change the score.
