ARE CUP FIXTURES DRAWN FROM A HAT OR TAMPERED WITH?

Post by SAOPAOLO 10 »

I think fixtures are manipulated or can anyone tell me otherwise? Does the federation have a transparent/fair system

Im not suggesting money changing hands but just seems funny how nearly all sunday teams play each other and same goes with saturdays. Who witnesses the draw? i missed it on pay tv :)

not sure mate but last year in the ressies first round we drew flinders uni at flinders. long way to travel from elizabeth and on the wrong day and it got the us knocked first round as we played a very differant team then we would usually have on the park.
not that flinders didn't play well.
i think for the early rounds of the cup its not such a bad thing if sat teams draw sat teams and vica versa with sunday i know a lot of people that cant get 2 games on sat and im sure it's the same the other way round

The Federation usually call people in to make the cup-draw, from club officials or players who train there every night of the week.I attended one draw last year.

Confirm what Penalty11 has just posted. The draws are witnessed. The suggestions that they are rigged is ridiculous. Build a bridge and get over it. If you are good enough, you will beat anyone.

You don't honestly think that the cup fixtures are rigged do you?

Its the luck of the draw mate. As Rob Lozza said if you are good enough you should beat anyone who your drawn against.

I think the Champions League draw is rigged. UEFA keep giving us Chelsea in the semi finals so we can play AC Milan.

Maybe if Moan-rinho took more viagra he would be able to get past a semi...!

Thats true Happy seems that Liverpool are always facing either Chelsea OR AC Milan somewhere along the line aren't they!

Moan-rinho as you have fairly called him would complain about any team that knocks them out of the cup anyway. But remember Chelsea are always hard done by. Thats why the better team always loses. Another cracker call from Moan-rinho you idiot :D

I have to agree. If your side is the best then it does not matter who you play where & on what day, you will always finish top.

If you need to make an excuse for your teams loss then maybe your team is not that good!

Does the truth hurt?
