VICTORIES GALORE

VICTORIES GALORE

In the last 20 years, Milan have reached the final eight times and won it five for an absolute football record bar none

MILAN - There are 20 European teams that have played in at least one Champions League final in the last 20 years. Here is the account after the most recent game in Athens between Milan and Liverpool:

MILAN 8 Finals
Juventus 4
Real Madrid and Barcelona 3

Liverpool - Bayern - Valencia - Ajax - Olympique de Marseille and Benfica 2

Arsenal - Porto - Bayern Munich - Bayer Leverkusen - Manchester United - Borussia Dortmund - Red Star Belgrade - Steaua Bucarest - Psv Eindhoven 1

All of the other European teams are at zero. Out of the Italian sides only three teams have made it to at least one Champions League final in the last 20 years: Milan, Juventus and Sampdoria.

As for which side has the most Champions League final wins, Milan are the victors bar none in the last 20 years:

MILAN 5 Victories
Real Madrid 3
Barcelona 2
Psv Eindhoven - Red Star Belgrade - Olympique de Marseille - Ajax - Juventus - Borussia Dortmund - Manchester United - Bayern Munich - Porto - Liverpool 1

All of the other European teams are at zero. Out of the Italian sides only one other than Milan has won the Champions League in the last 20 years and that is Juventus.

Milan also has more continental titles to their name than any other European squad. They will be looking to improve that tally and overtake Boca Juniors (whom they are equal with) with victories in the European Super Cup & World Club Cup.

Now on to something a little more un-related... I was flipping through the June, Australian edition of fourfourtwo (Tim Cahill on the front) at the newsagent, if any one has it... please turn to page 24, and look at Paolo Rossi’s stats, they seem to think he scored 124 goals in 48 caps for Italy. Or maybe I was blind, & read it wrong.

have a cry you Interista merda!!! IF Inter won it... the Interistas would be gloating about it twice as much... hypocrisy at its finest... I know its hard to deal with though all you Inter scum, you buy everyone from the devil (Juve), win the league in a cantar and STILL you are in the shadow of a great and resiliant Milan side who fought against the odds to be European Champions!

People care...

Those are incredible achievements which clearly show Milan have been the best in the world since the late 80s, no doubt about it, as much as I hate to say it.
