The Italian team were drawn by UEFA as the home side which gave them the right to wear their famous black and red shirts.

Its actually 5 times as they beat barca in 94 4-0 in white..in athens!, the only time milan have lifted the trophy in red&black was in 1969 after winning 4-1 against Cruyffs Ajax but the red strip for liverpool is also lucky (2 wins via penalty shoot-out)

obviously i didnt really think the colour of a shirt really mattered, but i know how superstitious all u italians are

Congratulations Milan, you are the champions of Europe. Liverpool supporters we must admitt defeat, & stop making excuses, Milan are superior to us. But we'll improve, im sure of it!

Lets just thank the heavens that we won THE final in istanbul, lets be honest we were lucky to win that, so perhaps 'revenge' for milan was destiny.
